Coastal Georgia Genealogical Society

After 30+ years, the Coastal Georgia Genealogical Society disbanded  at the end of 2024 due to lack of volunteers. CGGS donated its remaining funds to the Brunswick Library.

CGGS Donation to Brunswick Library
On January 16, 2025, Peter Dillon (left), President of the Coastal Georgia Genealogical Society, presented a check for $1,438.50 on behalf of the Society to Ben Bryson (right), Marshes of Glynn Libraries Assistant Director, to help fund archive and genealogy projects at the Brunswick Library.
