show and Tell
Join CGGS for a “Show and Tell” in-person meeting at the Peppertree Crossing community clubhouse (near the Brunswick mall). Bring a family heirloom or other personal genealogical treasure to discuss. All are welcome (membership not necessary). No preregistration required — just come and enjoy a friendly chat with other people who love genealogy and family history.
To reach the Peppertree Crossing Clubhouse: From I-95, take Exit 38. Turn left at the light at the exit on to Golden Island Parkway. (From St. Simons Island, turn right off the causeway and then left at Golden Isles Parkway.) Turn left (or right if coming from St. Simons Island) on to Scranton Road (the Brunswick mall will be on your right after you turn). Then turn right on to Scranton Connector Road. Just after the YMCA, turn left into the Peppertree Crossing neighborhood. (It is gated, but the gate will either be open or will open as you approach). Continue straight after the gate past the mailboxes. The road will swing to the left. Turn into the parking lot on your left. The clubhouse is the building to the rear of the parking lot next to the pool. Enter from the side facing the grass (not the pool side). Parking is free.
